New York, NY – Accomplished CEO, philanthropist, and advocate Paradise Rodriguez-Bordeaux has officially announced her candidacy for the President of the Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA). A visionary leader with a history of empowering individuals and driving impactful change, Paradise is eager to serve the diverse student body of Harvard University's Extension School (HES) and champion its students worldwide.

ParadiseForPresident.com serves as the official campaign hub, providing details about her platform, vision, and the unique initiatives she aims to bring to the HESA Presidency.

“Running for HESA President is about more than leadership—it's about building a community where every student, regardless of their background or personal challenges, can thrive. I believe in ethical, actionable leadership that serves everyone,” says Rodriguez-Bordeaux. “I’ve faced many of the same struggles our non-traditional students encounter, from balancing academics with health challenges, to navigating full-time work while continuing my education. I want to be a resource and an advocate for the entire student body.”

Rodriguez-Bordeaux’s platform centers on three key pillars: Integrity, Impact, and Empowerment.

  1. Integrity: Promoting transparency within HESA leadership and ensuring student voices are heard and respected in every decision made.

  2. Impact: Advocating for expanded resources, including mental health services, career development, and sustainable ADA accommodations for all students.

  3. Empowerment: Creating inclusive student communities, with peer mentorship, collaboration opportunities, and stronger support networks for incoming and current students alike.

As a trailblazer in the business world, Paradise has built a career defined by resilience, creativity, and ethical leadership. Her journey includes overcoming personal health battles, such as her fight with cancer, all while managing multiple businesses and maintaining excellent academic standing. This experience allows her to deeply understand the challenges faced by non-traditional students at HES, making her a unique voice of advocacy.

In her campaign, Rodriguez-Bordeaux is committed to ensuring that HES students—many of whom are professionals juggling careers, families, and education—have access to the resources they need to succeed, whether they are attending classes on campus or remotely. She plans to work closely with the Harvard administration to enhance career advancement programs and ensure all students receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work and dedication.

Her contributions to the HES community extend beyond her own education, as she has been a strong advocate for anti-trafficking efforts, ADA compliance, women in leadership, and mental health awareness through her foundation and business endeavors.
